What is F1 in Schools?

F1 in Schools is the world's premier STEM educational competition that challenges high school students to design, build, and race miniature Formula 1 racing cars powered by CO₂. This global initiative connects students with the exciting world of motorsport engineering and professional racing.

Teams collaborate using advanced CAD/CAM software to design, analyze, manufacture, and race their miniature compressed air-powered F1 cars. This international platform not only promotes Formula 1 but also develops essential skills in leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and project management that prepare students for future careers in engineering and technology.

F1 in Schools Mission & Vision

The mission of F1 in Schools is to transform perceptions of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by creating a dynamic, hands-on learning environment. We aim to inspire students worldwide and provide informed perspectives on careers in engineering, Formula 1, science, marketing, and technology industries.

Our Vision for STEM Education

We envision a future where students are empowered to pursue STEM-related fields with enthusiasm and confidence. By harnessing the excitement of Formula 1 racing, we create opportunities for personal growth and professional development that transcend geographical boundaries and prepare the next generation of engineers and innovators.
